Jefferson International University of Baptist is seeking dedicated and accomplished Associate Professors to join our growing faculty. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about teaching, research, and mentoring students in a Christian faith-based academic community.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our academic programs, engage in meaningful research, and make a lasting impact on students' lives. Join us in our mission to provide high-quality, Christ-centered education to students around the world.
This is a voluntary service position with honorarium provided to support your ministry and service to the university.
π― Key Responsibilities
- β’ Teach courses in your area of expertise at the undergraduate and graduate levels
- β’ Develop and deliver quality course content and materials
- β’ Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional development
- β’ Conduct scholarly research and contribute to academic publications
- β’ Participate in curriculum review and program development
- β’ Serve on university committees and contribute to institutional governance
- β’ Engage in professional development and stay current in your field
- β’ Collaborate with colleagues on research and teaching initiatives
- β’ Contribute to the university's mission of Christian faith-based education
- β’ Provide service to the university and broader academic community
- β’ Supervise student research and capstone projects
π Requirements & Qualifications
- β’ Doctoral degree in relevant field (PhD, EdD, ThD, or equivalent) required
- β’ Minimum of 5-7 years of teaching experience at the university level
- β’ Record of scholarly research and publications
- β’ Experience with online teaching and course development
- β’ Strong commitment to the Christian faith-based mission of Jefferson International University of Baptist
- β’ Excellent teaching, mentoring, and communication skills
- β’ Ability to engage students in a remote learning environment
- β’ Experience with curriculum development and program assessment
