📋 Position Overview
Jefferson International University of Baptist is seeking an innovative and visionary Programme Director to lead the development and management of our academic programs. As Programme Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, relevance, and growth of our degree programs across all disciplines.
This is a leadership role that requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders to advance our Christian faith-based educational mission. You will have the opportunity to shape curriculum, enhance student learning experiences, and contribute to the university's academic excellence.
This is a voluntary service position with honorarium provided to support your ministry and service to the university.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- • Lead the development and management of all academic programs
- • Ensure program quality, relevance, and alignment with institutional mission
- • Collaborate with faculty on curriculum design and review
- • Monitor program performance and student outcomes
- • Develop strategic plans for program growth and innovation
- • Coordinate with accreditation bodies and ensure compliance
- • Oversee program assessment and quality improvement initiatives
- • Recruit and mentor faculty for academic programs
- • Represent the university in academic partnerships and collaborations
- • Manage program budgets and resource allocation
- • Lead program evaluations and implement improvement recommendations
- • Stay current with trends in higher education and online learning
📌 Requirements & Qualifications
- • Doctoral degree in Education, Leadership, or related field preferred (Master's required)
- • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in academic program development and management
- • Experience in curriculum design and instructional leadership
- • Strong understanding of accreditation standards and quality assurance
- • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- • Commitment to the Christian faith-based mission of Jefferson International University of Baptist
- • Experience with online education and distance learning
- • Ability to lead a team of faculty and staff effectively
