Dr. Jenora Kwaning is an internationally respected education executive, governance specialist, researcher, institutional leader, and champion of ethical leadership with extensive experience in higher education, accreditation, quality assurance, public policy, organizational development, and international academic collaboration. His distinguished career reflects a lifelong commitment to advancing educational excellence, institutional transformation, leadership development, and global cooperation.
Dr. Kwaning possesses an exceptional multidisciplinary academic background. He holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana; a Professional Executive Master's in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR); Executive Certificates in Public Leadership from Harvard Kennedy School and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management, USA; a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the European Open University, Germany; a United Nations Diploma from UNITAR; and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Policy and Law from Liberty University, Virginia, USA. He is also pursuing advanced legal studies in Law (LLB, LLM, and Ph.D.) through the Universal Institute of Professional Management (UIPM), Indonesia.
Currently serving as President of the Universal Institute of Professional Management (UIPM), Ghana, Dr. Kwaning provides visionary leadership in advancing higher education, executive education, and professional development. He also serves as Secretary General and Director of the International Teachers Association (ITA), where he promotes educational innovation, professional certification, international collaboration, and teaching excellence. In addition, he is the Acting Chief Accreditation Officer of the ITA Accreditation Service, supporting institutional accreditation, quality assurance, and academic standards for educational institutions worldwide.
Dr. Kwaning also serves as Secretary General, Chief Executive Officer, and Executive Director of the Global Institute of Chartered Politicians (GIOP), where he champions ethical governance, leadership development, and public policy. Within the International Teachers Association, he holds several additional leadership positions, including Joint Chairperson, Chief Ethics Officer, Legal and Compliance Advisor, Director of Professional Standards, Member of the ITA Honorary Degree Board, and Head of Global Project Partnerships and Collaboration.
