Program Overview
The Bachelor of Pastoral Care & Chaplaincy (B.P.C.C.) at Jefferson International University of Baptist (JIUB) is a comprehensive four-year undergraduate program designed to prepare students for compassionate pastoral care, chaplaincy ministry, spiritual guidance, counseling, and leadership in churches, hospitals, educational institutions, correctional facilities, military organizations, community ministries, and faith-based organizations.
The program integrates biblical studies, Christian theology, pastoral care, counseling, psychology, ethics, spiritual formation, crisis intervention, grief support, and chaplaincy practice. Students will develop the knowledge, practical skills, and spiritual maturity required to minister effectively to individuals, families, and communities experiencing emotional, physical, spiritual, and social challenges.
Through academic instruction, supervised ministry experiences, internships, and community engagement, graduates will be equipped to provide Christ-centered care, promote hope and healing, support individuals during times of crisis, and serve faithfully in diverse ministry settings around the world.
The program emphasizes servant leadership, compassion, confidentiality, cultural sensitivity, professional ethics, and biblical integrity while preparing graduates for lifelong ministry and advanced theological education.
